very poor software,it installed ok but as soon as i did a registry clean, it altered all the text in my word documents
i contacted their customer service, they emailed me instructions to supposedly fix the problem, followed the instructions to the letter, but it was no good the problem still was still there, so i uninstalled the software, sent pc tools an email telling them if they are going to sell software they should make sure its compatable with windows 7 they told me they knew the problem exists but it dont seem like they are in a hurry to fix it.

I bought this product to update a earlier version that was about to expire, whilst it installed ok on the first PC using the code provided on the box (though as a earlier reviewer said it has disabled the auto run on my digital camera and CD's and DVD's, and possible other things not yet discovered).
In the mean time I tried to install it onto my 2 laptops but without success as it will not accept the code on the box a second time, I received a Email from PCtools which had a new licence number but this too fails to be accepted and I am automatically routed to a purchase page where I can purchase a copy of the software....infuriating.
I tried the online chat help but after only a few questions I was instructed to call a technical hotline......more infuriating.
I then raised a ticket for technical support but I am still waiting for them to get back to me.
I am really fed up at this point and will be looking to uninstall this program and try to restore my computer to a time before this fiasco.
This product is cheap here on Amazon and I am not surprised because it really is a nightmare to work with, unless of course you only need it on one computer and you want to disable your autorun functions.
Avoid at all costs, I wish I could give it NO STARS.
